Dr. Joseph Hickey’s passion for chiropractics began at a young age. He was a breakout cross country and track runner his sophomore year of high school, until he was faced with injury. After seeing a chiropractor to address his injury, he was able to return to athletics his junior year and continued to be a runner through college. He decided that given the successful treatment he had, he wanted to pursue a career in chiropractic care with a goal of helping other people and athletes live their best pain-free lives.
Dr. Joe is a 2017 graduate of New York Chiropractic College and is licensed to practice in the state of Maryland with full physical therapy privileges. He holds certifications in Activator Technique, ConnectX therapy, Mackenzie Protocol, and dry needling.
When Dr. Joe and Sarah met in 2018, Joe was a new graduate and had just started his first job as a chiropractor. As the years went on, Sarah watched Joe struggle with the traditional model of chiropractic care, as he desired to spend more time working with his patients. In the spring of 2023, Joe and Sarah decided it was finally time for him to venture out on his own to achieve this goal. Thus, All Day Chiropractic was born, with the name being inspired by Dr. Joe’s college nickname.
Dr. Joe and Sarah have been married since 2021 and live in Aberdeen with their dogs Dylan, Kenzie, and Luffy. When he is not working, Dr. Joe enjoys spending time with friends and family, playing disc and ball golf, basketball, hiking, skiing, and video games.
Sarah is a Harford County native and has a MS in Biotechnology and an MBA. When she’s not helping Dr. Joe run his practice, Sarah works full time managing a research lab at Johns Hopkins University. In her spare time, she enjoys taking care of her 200+ house plants and spending time with their dogs.
